The rules

How it plays

  1. Use a 40-card Italian deck with no trump and deal ten cards to each player.
  2. Players must follow the led suit when able.
  3. Cards rank 3, 2, A, K, Q, J, 7, 6, 5, 4 within the led suit.
  4. Aces score one point; 2s, 3s and figures score one third; the last trick adds one point.
  5. In partnership play, partners combine their captured-card score.
Availability note. Expected October is an approximate target. Each wave arrives once the previous one is stable.

Partners to 21

The classic four-player partnership format.

  • Partners sit opposite.
  • The first side to the target score wins the match.

Two players

A focused heads-up form using the same no-trump rules.

  • Two individual players.
  • Follow suit and the standard card order remain unchanged.

Ciapanò

Reverse Tressette — also called Traversone or Rovescino.

  • Take as few card points as possible.
  • The side with fewer points wins the deal.

Make it yours. Start from any of these, adjust the settings the game allows, and save it as your own template. When online play opens you can publish a custom table for others to join.
