The Slow Gaming tortoise

Our operating system

A game can ask for thought without demanding your life.

Slow Gaming is not a difficulty level or a visual theme. It is the decision to make games that remain good when the urgency, advertising and manipulation are removed.

  1. Your attention is not inventory. No advertisements, loot boxes, forced streaks, expiring rewards or endless feeds. The game never creates anxiety to improve a metric.
  2. Local play is the heart, not the demo. The rules engine and local opponents work on device. A network outage should not take away the table you bought.
  3. Time belongs to the player.Relaxed clocks, pause where the rules allow it, readable decisions, save and resume, hints and undo in local templates when appropriate.
  4. Intelligence should be private.On-device models support opponents, coaches and companions without sending the private local game to an aiOrion cloud model.
  5. Competition is an option.Arena removes AI, hints and undo when human competition is wanted. It does not make quiet local play second-class.
  6. Progress recognises; it does not coerce.Experience, titles and achievements can remember what you did. They never require a daily ritual or punish you for leaving.

On-device AI

A companion, not a dependency.

Each engine remains the authority on legal moves and outcomes. A model may choose among legal actions, explain a position or speak in character; it never gets to invent the rules. When a model is unavailable, deterministic or rules-based fallback keeps the game playable and says what changed.

Conversation availability depends on Apple's local model and language coverage. The game interface can be localized more broadly than the current conversation model, so the site does not imply that every AI voice speaks every supported UI language on day one.

When competition is chosen

The community owns the event. aiOrion keeps the score.

The Arena is designed for human-only play, per-game ELO and user-created tournaments. Its live rollout is separate from each app's local release and remains gated until the service is ready.

Human only

No AI in Arena.

Online competitive matches remove AI players, hints and undo so the rating means what it says.

Player run

Your tournament.

Players and clubs choose the rules, format and invitations. aiOrion is the referee, not the owner of the community.

Per game

A rating with context.

Bridge skill is not Briscola skill. Each game keeps its own competitive rating and history.

No cash-out

Game currency only.

Game Coins are not money, an investment or a prize redeemable for cash.

Fair exit

Leaving makes the table whole.

Abandon an Arena match or tournament and your entry Game Coins are forfeited to aiOrion; every remaining player is refunded their entry and the game closes.

Made for everyone

Calm play, in your language, for every player.

Each app speaks your language. The interface is localized across the languages the App Store supports, so nothing reads like a rough machine translation. AI conversation follows Apple's on-device model and its language coverage, which grows over time.

Because every screen is built with native Apple technology, system accessibility comes with it: VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Voice Control, high-contrast and reduce-motion behave exactly as you already expect on your devices.

No ads, no chance-based spending and no manipulation make the whole collection comfortable for families, students and anyone who simply wants a quiet game.

See it in practice
