The rules

How it plays

  1. Two partnerships use two full decks plus four jokers; deal eleven cards to each player and set aside two eleven-card pozzetti.
  2. Draw from the stock or take the entire discard pile, optionally meld, then discard.
  3. Build suited sequences or equal-rank sets of three or more cards.
  4. A meld of seven or more is a burraco; clean burracos score more than dirty ones containing a wild.
  5. A side normally must take its pozzetto and complete a burraco before going out.
Availability note. Expected late October is an approximate target. Each wave arrives once the previous one is stable.
