The rules

How it plays

  1. Draw the top card of the stock or discard pile.
  2. Form sets of equal rank or suited runs of consecutive cards.
  3. In standard play, meld or lay off during the turn and finish by discarding.
  4. Go out first; cards left in opponents' hands determine the round score.
  5. Play rounds until the agreed target score is reached.
Availability note. Expected late October is an approximate target. Each wave arrives once the previous one is stable.

Ways to play

Variants, not separate apps.

One purchase contains the supported rules family. Each option below changes the table while keeping the engine's legal-move checks in charge.

Standard Rummy

Open table melds for two to four players.

  • Melds are played visibly during the hand.
  • Lay off onto your own or any player's melds, according to the template.

Gin Rummy

Two-player concealed melding with knock and gin scoring.

  • Keep melds concealed and track unmatched deadwood.
  • Knock at or below the threshold; zero deadwood is gin, while a defender can undercut a weak knock.

Make it yours. Start from any of these, adjust the settings the game allows, and save it as your own template. When online play opens you can publish a custom table for others to join.
